Over 50 self-identifying womxn gathered together to explore the experience of being a womxn at work. Thank you immensely to the womxn who spoke to us about their experiences: T’wina Nobles, Krista Perez, Renee Simms, Tara Newton, Bre Johnson, and Kristy Fassio. We were encouraged to not contort our bodies around people who shouldn’t be touching us in the first place, to shamelessly take up the space our bodies inhabit, to offer people clear boundaries for our time, and to actively work on overcoming imposter syndrome. The workshop was led by Allison Bishins Consulting and featured small group discussions on how we can work together to overcome gender based challenges at work.
